-->There are two basic ways that you, as an admin, can deploy the OneDrive sync app to Mac users in your organization:
Have users install and set up the OneDrive sync app themselves by following the instructions in Sync files with OneDrive on Mac OS X. To install the OneDrive sync app for Mac, a user has to be administrator on the Mac or know an administrator account name and password.
Download the installer package file to your local network, and then use your software distribution tools to deploy the app to your users. By using a software distribution tool, you have more control over the deployment, including which users get the sync app and when. The OneDrive sync app for Mac uses the Apple Installer technology for installation. This means you can use the software distribution tools that you normally use to deploy software to Mac users. You can use Microsoft Intune. Other common tools are Jamf Pro, Munki, and AutoPkg. You can also use Apple Remote Desktop and AppleScript.
Manage OneDrive settings on macOS using property list (Plist) files
After the OneDrive sync app for Mac is installed, users can configure settings for the app. These settings are called preferences. As an admin, you might want to provide users in your organization with a standard set of preferences. Preferences for the OneDrive sync app for Mac are stored in preference files. These files are often referred to as .plist files.

Configure sync app settings
Configure the settings on macOS in the typical way:
Quit the OneDrive application.
Define the settings you want to change by creating a Plist with the values, or use a script to set the default values.
Deploy the settings onto the local computer.
Refresh the preferences cache.
On the next start of OneDrive, the new settings will be picked up.
Overview of settings
Use the following keys to preconfigure or change settings for your users. The keys are the same whether you run the standalone or Mac App Store edition of the sync app, but the property list file name and domain name will be different. When you apply the settings, make sure to target the appropriate domain depending on the edition of the sync app.

In Mac OS X, by default, you are limited to sharing only what is in your public folder in your home directory. To add a share using Share Points, follow these 3 steps.- Download SharePoints.

2.0.6 (Mac OS X 10.1.x) - Launch SharePoints and use it to add or delete share points and to set the permissions for the share directory.
***Caution: SharePoints only modifies the permissions on the directory that is shared. All directories residing within the shared directory retain their original permissions.*** - Connect to the share from another machine with a non-admin user.
Note: It has been reported that folders that reside on a disk formatted as a HFS disk will not be shared. You can check the format of your disk by getting info for the disk in the Finder. If it says 'Format: Mac OS Extended', then everything should work well.
If you encountered problems when using a previous version, start the Application and then select 'Delete All Shares...' from the Shares menu. This will clean your NetInfo database of all shares and will give you a clean slate to work with.
To add a new File Sharing Only user using SharePoints, follow these 3 steps.
- Click on the Users & 'Public' Shares tab.
- Fill in the information for the new user.
- Click Add New User.
Note: A File Sharing Only user is defined as a user that cannot login via telnet or ssh and does not have a home directory assigned.
To add a new group using SharePoints, follow these 4 steps.
- Click on the Groups tab.
- Fill in the information for the group.
- Click Add New Group.
- Add new users from the user list to the newly created group.
Installation
To install the SharePoints.prefPane file, place the file either in ~/Library/PreferencePanes/ (create the directory if it doesn't exist) or in /Library/PreferencePanes/ (create it if it doesn't exist). If you place it in ~/Library/PreferencePanes/, then only you will see SharePoints in the System Preferences application. If you place it in /Library/PreferencePanes/, then everyone that logs into your computer will see SharePoints in the System Preferences application.To Install the application version of SharePoints, just copy it to any convenient location on your harddrive. I would suggest placing it in your Utilities folder.
